According to the source, Health officials from Embu county have broke the silence and banned all catering in funerals and family meetings in the area. The health official have revealed this after many cases of Covid-19 infections have been reported in the region due to eating in funerals whereby many people violates Covid-19 protocols. Roseline Kaugi who is Embu Director of Public Health have revealed that, many mourners who will be found eating in funerals will be arrested. I quote her statement, "when people feed at funerals and home parties, there is a tendency of forgetting the mask and keeping social distance," she revealed this details.
Furthermore, Embu County Commissioner Abdullahi Galgalo revealed that, any Kenyan who will found violating Covid-19 directives will be arrested. I quote his statement from the source, "it is our responsibility to follow the MOH protocol to keep the virus at bay. Let those contravening the protocol be warned that we will arrest them" he revealedThis comes in after our beloved president Uhuru Kenyatta introduce new directives in the country to reduce Covid-19 infections. Political rallies and curfew hours were extended for another 60 days.
