Natembeya Bars Doctors From Serving In Private Clinics, To Establish CECM's Offices In Hospitals.

George Natembeya, the governor of Transzoia County, has made challenging recommendations for his region's improvement, particularly in the health sector.

For the first time, the governor issued an order directing that the senior medical officers, executive officers, directors, and chairperson of the health committee all have offices in hospitals rather than county administration.

"Under my administration, the chief executive Committee Member (CECM) for health, chief officer, director, and senior medical officers will have their offices in hospitals for proper supervision and service delivery," And he revealed.

A medical officer from a county in which the governor is the governor will not be permitted to work in a private clinic. Increasing service delivery is another goal of this.

"Furthermore, to prevent conflicts of interest in service delivery, no medical officer from Transnzoia County will be permitted to serve public hospital and attend to their own private clinics—they will have to choose one, either to serve mwananchi or to run their private clinics," the statement continued.

The governor promises to see to it that all medical personnel are fairly and promptly compensated in accordance with the aforementioned plan.
