Today on Friday 1st October 2021, the county government of Kitui have launched the medical insurance cover in partnership with NHIF Kenya.
The insurance is made for all Kitui residents where the residents will be required to pay half of the amount of money required and county government will be paying the other half.
Kaluki Ngilu who is the current governor of Kitui county said that, the residents will be required to pay only Ksh.3,000 and the county government will be finishing the other Ksh.3,000 per family per year.
She included that, the Kitui residents under the KituiUHC will be able to access medical services at all the medical facilities within kitui county and across Kenya not leaving behind private hospital and referral hospitals like Kenyatta National Hospital.
This is the part of governor Ngilu's big a gender which she had promised the Kitui residents during her 2017 campaigns.
To Kitui citizens, this is a good chance for you to get this insurance cover before it's too late. Your governor is doing great work by improving the health sector and providing the extra services which other county governors are yet to think of doing.
The good thing with this Kitui-UHC is that, you are needed to contribute only Ksh.3,000 of the total charge and not per head, it's per family. I think every person can get this money and ensure his or her family.
Thank you very much governor Kaluki Ngilu for #kituiUCH.
