Distribution of Today's New Covid-19 Cases in Counties


The Mutahi Kagwe led Ministry of Health has established that 182 new people have been confirmed to have tested positive for the deadly Corona virus disease within the last twenty four hours.

The Ministry of Health on its social media platform has informed that the new cases of Corona virus disease are from a sample size of 5,477 tested in the last twenty four hours. According to the Ministry, the Covid-19 positivity rate is now as low as at 3.3%. This is good news to Kenyans because the low Covid-19 positivity rate indicates that the country is almost returning to new normalcy.

Total confirmed positive cases are now 320,766 and cumulative tests so far conducted are 3,200, 937.


As of January 25th 2022, a total of 11,710,636 vaccines has been administered across the country. Of these, 6,358,153 are partially vaccinated while those fully vaccinated are 5,191,409.
