The month of April will be a very tough one for Kenyan because of the increase in the number of covid 19 infections and deaths. So far, the country is fighting the third wave of coronavirus which is believed to have come from South Africa. The President of the Republic of Kenya decided to lock Nairobi, Nakuru, Machakos, and Kiambu to reduce the infection rate. However, there is no major improvement because the number of infections and deaths is still rising.
Nairobi County has recorded the highest number of infections than any other county in Kenya. The speaker Nairobi national assembly Mr. Benard has announced indefinite closures of Nairobi County assembly after forty County assemblies have tested positive for covid 19 on Tuesday. Four others are in critical conditions in the intensive care unit. Kenyans should be ready to live with the disease because it is not ending any time soon!
