Just a few hours after President Uhuru Kenyatta unlocked the country, the ministry of health has announced a surge of new infections as a result of Covi-19 in today's daily briefing. According to the Ministry of Health, close to 20 people have died as a result of Corona, with 725 new cases reported today.

Even with the new development in terms of new regulations by President Uhuru Kenyatta, the Ministry of Health has continued to warn Kenyans against defying the laid down rules on covid prevention. The ministry advised that Kenyans should still observe the rules and regulations in combating the virus.
The ministry noted with great concern the casual manner in which some Kenyans have continued to treat the virus which has so far claimed over 2000 lives in the country and millions globally. Kenya which is on the international radar has made great progress in combating the virus which has brought the world to its knees.
