Amerix, a Twitter celebrity, is a Bungoma-based medical professional and masculinity educator who has taken the social media world by storm with his advice for living a healthy life, particularly for males, and he is also well-known for his use of the hashtag #MasculinitySaturday on Twitter.
Amerix has warned people against eating late in the night and then going to bed with their stomachs full. He instead asked his students to practice something called NEAT, a Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis.
He said that people should practice eating their last meal of the day very early before going to bed. This will give you time to walk and do activities such as packaging, sweeping, and washing that promotes the NEAT theme.
Amerix listed that walking and engaging in less vibrant activities after eating helps in improving digestion, lowering blood pressure, improve sleep because full stomachs will cause sleepless nights, improves insulin sensitivity, and lowers blood glucose that spiked up after eating.
He encouraged people who are obese to eat early and then walk thereafter for the sake of their health.
