Today, 345 people have tested positive for covid 19 from a sample of 6686 in the last 24 hours. This was according to tests that were carried out by the ministry of health. The total number of infections now stand at 160904. The positivity rate is now at 5.2 percent.
On that note, the cumulative tests that have carried out are now at 1688106. On the bright side, 140 patients have recovered from the virus bringing the total recoveries to 109217. It is sad that 24 deaths have occurred in the last 24 hours. The total number of deaths due to covid 19 are now at 2805.
It is important to note that 1230 patients are receiving treatment in different health facilities while other 6654 are being treated from home.
