The Ministry of Health headed by the Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe has thus evening sent a message to all Kenyans concerning the state of Covid 19 in the country.
According to the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours 15 people tested positive for the virus, from a sample size of 3, 215. The numbers mean that the positivity rate in the country is now at 0.5 per cent. 12 are Kenyans and 3 are foreigners. 8 are females and 7 are males. The youngest is 19 years old and the oldest is 62 years old according to the Ministry of health.
Nairobi County has registered 14 new cases and Garissa has only 1 case.
Fortunately no death has been recorded in the last 24 hours. No patient has recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.
Only 2 patients are currently admitted in the health care facilities in the country and only 151 are currently in the home based and isolation program.
