Last year, the country was badly hit after the outbreak of the corona virus disease. Many people lost their lives as the pandemic swept through the nation forcing President Uhuru Kenyatta and his government to act in order to control things.
Since that time, President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Ministry of Health have been coming up with Covid-19 protocols that have been helping out while Fred Matiang'i's Interior Ministry has been helping to enforce those rules and regulations.
Today, Kenyans were left talking after they woke up to a leaked instruction from President Uhuru Kenyatta's government to the counties. It is said that Uhuru's government has asked counties to use the Mashujaa Day to convince Kenyans to go for the Covid-19 jabs.
That is because in some parts, many Kenyans have so far refused to take the Covid-19 jabs. So the government is planning to use today in order to hit their target of vaccinating 5.8 million people.
