NO Observation Of Covid-19 Rules As Ruto Brings West Pokot To A Stand Still-Photos

Deputy president William Ruto on Saturday attracted very many people in his West Pokot meeting, the second in command was welcomed by jubilant Kapenguria residents.

Ruto was in the area for development tour, he inspected a number of learning facilities and presented school bus to Patio secondary school, Sigor, West Pokot county.

Despite the increasing number of those attracting Covid-19 virus in the country, the crowd that turned up for Ruto's meeting did not observe the rules set by the ministry of health. They never maintained social distance and were not putting on facemasks.

Such gatherings have led to increased number of Covid-19 virus, this was witnessed during the Madaraka day celebrations that were held in Kisumu, the region would later be declared Covid-19 hotspot zone and a number of restrictions put in place.

Kenya is currently staring at fourth wave of the pandemic and the ministry of health has been warning Kenyans that a number of lives could be lost.
