Ministry of Health has cleared the air on the safety of vaccines in the country delivering bad news to vaccinated individuals in the country.
While addressing questions that have arisen on the safety of the Corona Virus disease vaccines, the Mutahi Kagwe led Ministry of Health has cleared the air on the same informing that the vaccines are safe for human use.
The Ministry of Health has further delivered bad news to the vaccinated individuals in the country saying that they can still get the virus even after they have received the Covid-19 jab.
The Ministry has therefore urged Kenyans who have been vaccinated against the disease to continue adhering to the Corona virus disease prevention measures laid down by the Ministry of Health. The Ministry has said that the vaccine only offers protection against Corona virus disease but cannot deter someone from being infected.
"The vaccine offers protection against COVID-19. Once you have been vaccinated you must continue to adhere to the preventive measures in place because your can still get the virus." MoH noted on its twitter page.
