Since Kenya reported the first case in March 2020, the government in conjunction with the ministry of health has been ensuring that Kenyans are aware of this disease, it reached a period where the government enforced some containment measures across the country including curfew hours, wearing face masks, maintaining social distance and washing hands regularly with running water. All this was done to ensure that the disease should not spread very fast.
However, it has also been ensuring that Kenyans get daily updates on Covid 19 situations in the country to alert them about the disease, the government have also ensured that it's citizens get vaccinated against the disease, Kenya has received many doses and is targeting over ten million people at the end of this year in order to protect it's citizens.
Unfortunately, the ministry of health have discovered that Kenyans are being charged for them to be vaccinated, it has warned the health officers that vaccination is free and any found charging people for them to receive vaccines will be arrested. Kenyans are encouraged to report such cases.
