The Ministry of Health today informed Kenyans that in the last 24 hours 637 people tested positive for Covid 19 from a total sample of 6, 039. The positivity rate as at today is at 10.7 per cent. The country recorded 30 deaths today which is a very sad news to all Kenyans.
Narrowing the cases down to counties Nairobi Kenya is leading followed by Garissa and Kitui with 207, 74 and 68 respectively.
Opinion: Schools should be closed due to the rise in Covid 19 cases so that the Ministry can combat the spread of the virus. In case a student test positive for Covid 19 he or she will be putting other students in danger of contracting the virus. So because the country is reporting more cases of Covid 19 in my opinion schools should be closed to avoid students contracting Covid 19.
