Now, the former county boss has sent a message to Nairobi residents after a long period of silence.
In a phone call to the mourners that was put on a loudspeaker, Sonko was heard pleading with Nairobians to pray for him.
“I wish to condole with Njenga’s family as they lay Mzee to rest. I also request your prayers. Nairobi residents, please pray for me,” Sonko addressed the mourners.
During his bail hearing, the magistrate not only ordered his release from police custody but also asked police officers not to question him until he gets well.
Today, his lawyers led by John Khaminwa revealed the conditions and diseases that are ailing the legislator.
