In the last 24 hours Kenya has recorded 32 new positive cases from a total sample of 2, 893. The positivity rate is at 1.1 per cent. From the new cases 31 are Kenyans and 1 is a foreigner. 17 are males and 15 are females. The youngest is 22 years old and the oldest is 64 years old.
18 patients have recovered from the disease 15 from home based isolation and care program and 3 from the health care facilities.
No death has been reported in the country. The death toll remains at 5, 335.
212 patients are currently admitted to the hospital and 837 people are in the home based isolation and care program.
