Speaking to Kamau Wa Kangethe during the 'Inooro Ruciini' program, Senator Irungu Kang'ata stated that his joy would be that no one turns out for a free medical camp because they have been blessed with good health.
It is still not yet the case considering many continue to suffer from various ailments that they can not afford the treatment. Senator Irungu Kang'ata also stated that he had organized to hold a free medical camp for Murang'a County residents which did not turn out well after getting banned by the County Government of Murang'a.
On hearing that, Kamau Wa Kangethe asked Irungu Kang'ata why it was the case and Irungu Kang'ata stated that he was told he could not hold the free medical camp because of the Covid-19 restrictions.
Irungu Kang'ata went on to state that he donated the free equipment to the Catholic Church in Gacarage where the Father in charge got to hold the camp having invited the Senator as the guest of honour.
