Today, top HIV ambassador and trainer Doreen Muracha has decided to engage with a very interesting topic about HIV. Doreen enquired from her fans to share some of the side effects they have heard when they took PEP or Prep.
PEP are ARVS which are post exposure prophylaxis. These are drugs given to a client when they mistakenly sleep with someone whom are HIV positive without protection or after getting intimate with people you don't know their HIV Status. They are usually given up to 72 hours after exposure.
PREP are ARV drugs given prior to a partner who is negative and their partner is positive. Mostly PREP prevents transmission of positive to negative people. However all drugs have side effects.
Some of the fans have shared their experiences with PEP and PREP drugs. Most people reported an abnormal rush with nausea and vomiting. Other fans Revealed experiences to the extreme where their partners would vomit acid and be unable to eat after taking the drugs. See Doreen's revelation below.
