Kenyans should now be more careful as the rate of Covid-19 infection has drastically increased in the country meaning that the fourth wave might results in more Covid-19 cases if protocols set will not be strictly observed by citizens.
In the last twenty four hours, a total of 1,068 people tested positive to the virus from a sample of 7,398 people who were tested. The positivity rate is now 14.4% as per the report from The Ministry of Health.￼1,018 of those who tested positive to the virus are Kenyans while the remaining 50 are foreigners. 554 are males and 514 are females. Up to now, 201,009 people have tested positive to the virus from a cumulative tests of 2,116,979 that have been conducted.
Nairobi County seems to be the hotspot as 489 cases were reported in this County followed by Mombasa in distance with 77 cases. Migori comes third with 60 cases, check the list below for the rest of the counties.In Nairobi, Kasarani reported 60 cases followed by Ruaraka with 38 cases. Dagorethi North closely follows Ruaraka as 37 cases were reported from this subcounty.
