Distribution of Today's New Covid-19 Cases in Counties

According to the Ministry of Health, 402 new individuals have been confirmed positive for Covid-19 disease within the last twenty four hours bringing the country's national tally of Covid-19 infections to 247,358.

Within the last twenty four hours, the Ministry tested 6715 new samples bringing the total number of tests conducted in the country so far to 2,514,478.

The country's Covid-19 positivity rate is now standing at 6 percent.

County distribution is as listed below;

Nairobi led with 84 new cases, Makueni with 57 new cases, Nakuru with 28 new cases, Kiambu with 22 new cases,

Kericho with 19 new cases, Kakamega with 17 cases, Taita Taveta with 17, Murang’a with 13, Machakos with 10.

Garissa with 10 cases, Kisii 10 cases, Kajiado 10 cases, Bomet 9 cases, Mandera county with 9, Meru county with 9, Kitui with 8, Kirinyaga 8 cases, Uasin Gishu with 7 cases, Laikipia with 7 cases, Nyeri with 6, Marsabit with 6 cases.

Embu county 5, Kilifi county 5, Mombasa county has 5, Narok county has 4, Homa Bay county has 4, Nyandarua county has 3, Tharaka Nithi county with 2, West Pokot county 2, Lamu county with 1,

Siaya county has 1, Nandi county has 1, Trans Nzoia county has 1, Vihiga county has 1 and Bungoma county has 1.
