Kenyans have received a worrying news from today's Covid 19 updates. A thing that has sparked alot of reactions from people across the country. In a statement released by the Ministry of Health, the country's fatalities have risen to 5554 after another 23 patients succumbed to the disease.
The Ministry of Health boss Mutahi Kagwe said that there are 746 patients are currently admitted in various health facilities across the country, while 6,011 are under the Home Based Isolation and Care Program.
Worryingly, 40 patients are in the intensive Care Unit, 38 of them on ventilatory support while two are on supplemental oxygen. Another 172 patients are on supplemental oxygen and all of them are in the general wards. No patients is in the High Dependency Unit.

Meanwhile, 1814 patients have recovered from the disease, 1676 from the Home Based Isolation and Care Program while 138 are from various health facilities across the country.
Impressively the total recoveries now stand at 291361 of whom 239,448 are from Home Based Care and Isolation Program, while 51 913 are from various health facilities across the country.
Therefore Kenya on Sunday recorded 91 new cases of Corona Virus bringing the country's case load to 320229. Indeed a worrying news from the Ministry of Health.
Therefore the Cabinet Secretary for Health Mutahi Kagwe in a press briefing confirmed that this was from a sample size of 3229 recording a positivity rate of 2.8 per cent. Therefore cumulative test stand at 3,186,286.
