Macharia was taken ill to one of the local hospitals after he contracted the deadly Covid-19 virus.
After days in the hospital, his situation deteriorated and he was put under oxygen support.
Macharia in the clip bid farewell to his followers as he listened to a sorrowful song by Muigai wa Njoroge.
Hours after the viral video Macharia was reported dead, with the painful clip going viral across the internet.
Many who knew him took to social media expressing their shock and deepest condolences to his family.
A huge number cautioned Kenyans to be extra careful and also get the said jab to reduce the number of fatalities due to this virus.
Lately, the number of deaths in the country has increased to a worrying trend with over 4000 Kenyans having been confirmed dead due to Covid-19 related complications.
Also, the country has recorded over 300 thousand cases of the same virus.
Vaccine roll out
The ministry of health through its secretary Mutahi kagwe has been advising all Kenyans to rush and get vaccinated to help curb the virus spread.
Currently, Kenyans have been receiving the Uk based AstraZeneca vaccine with Pfizer also landing in the country a week ago.
There is the hope of the famous Johnson and Johnson vaccines lading the country as the government gets ready for a mass vaccination process.

All Kenyans should be extra vigilant and take caution to avoid crowded areas as the virus is still with us.
Please go for the vaccine to stop further deaths related to this virus's complications.
