Since the emergence of covid-19 disease into the country, Kenya has continued to report more new cases of infections despite the efforts to curb the disease spread.
To the worst, the Ministry of Health has today recorded one the highest numbers of covid-19 cases within a span of one day. From a sample of 7,067 tested, 1,085 people have tested positive bringing the total to 205,356 of the confirmed cases in Kenya. The positivity rate has now stands at 15.4%.
For the worst, 25 more patient's have succumbed to the disease bringing the total number of fatalities to 3,995. Hopes are however still there as more 403 patient's recovers from the disease making the total number of recoveries to stand at 38,644.
In addition, 1,540 patients are currently admitted at various health facilities across the country with 4,112 under home based case care. Also, 475 patients are in supplementary oxygen.
