How To Cook A Mixture of Matoke, Potatoes and Beef Stew

Today we cook a mixture of different foods.

Ingredients;

  1. 1/2 kg of red meat
  2. {Take 5 of tomatoes.
  3. {Take 1 of big onion.
  4. {Take 5 of big pieces of green bananas(peeled).
  5. {Prepare 1/2 kg of potatoes(peeled).
  6. {Make ready to taste of Salt.
  7. {Take of C/oil.
  8. {Prepare 1 tsp of paprika.
  9. {Make ready 1 of corriander(washed &chopped).

Meat: Try using goat, lamb or chicken instead of beef. Brown the meat in the oil first for a. Spicy, tangy, buttery and flavoursome green banana curry from the Asian community of Uganda. This Ugandan Matoke (Spicy Green Banana Mash) It is often cooked simply with tomatoes, turmeric and salt, or added to stews as a filling carb in place of potatoes or cassava.

Steps To Make a Mixture of Matoke, Potatoes and Beef Stew

  1. Wash your meat and boil for about 20mins till soft, add cooking oil let meat fry till golden brown.....add onion fry for 2mins......
  2. Wash your bananas and potatoes then mix to the meat stir let them fry together for about 3mins then add chopped tomatoes, salt, paprika stir...and add like 2cups of water to help bananas to cook well....when its ready sprinkle your coriander and let it simmer with the steam while the heat is off.....now serve while hot!!.
