How To Cook Wet Fry Fish To Serve With Ugali

We all love fish. It is sweet and full of different nutrients in the body. Today we are learning how to cook wet fry fish.

Ingredients;

  1. whole fish(tilapia) descaled
  2. 3 finely chopped ripe tomatoes
  3. 2 large onions
  4. to taste Salt
  5. 1/2 tsp turmeric
  6. 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  7. 1/2 tsp dhana jeera powder
  8. Strips ginger
  9. 2 cloves ofChopped garlic
  10. 1 small piece of fresh ginger root,cut in strips
  11. Chopped dhania
  12. Onion rings to garnish

The procedure to follow;

  1. Wash & descale the fish& dry it. Make slits
  2. In a frying pan deep fry the fish
  3. Fry till golden brown
  4. When fried & crispy keep it aside
  5. another pan add oil, onions &ginger & cook.keep masalas ready
  6. When brown add the chopped tomatoes
  7. Add all the masalas till done. Don't overcook.
  8. After add the fried fish in the gravy
  9. Cover it well with the gravy. Serve in a large dish with Ugali & Sukuma Wiki
  10. Serve it while hot with ugali and Sukuma wiki
