Eight Right Ways To Eat Our Favourite Foods

Kiwi

The skin of kiwi contains a high concentration of nutrients, like fiber, folate, and vitamin E. Consumption of a whole SunGold kiwifruit (including the skin) increases the fiber, vitamin E and folate contents by 50%, 32%, and 34%. Due to fact that many people don’t consume enough of these nutrients in their diets, eating kiwis with the skin on is one easy way to boost your intake.

Asparagus

Never cook them in the microwave because It depletes the vitamin C content of this vegetable due to the nutrient being soluble in water. Steaming or frying is the ideal way to cook asparagus stalks so that they turn out tender and crispy.

Flax seeds

They’re rich in fiber, omega-3, lignans, and phytonutrients, all of which are valuable substances for the body. But our bodies are unable to digest them when they’re eaten whole and that's why they should be crushed before they’re ingested so that they don’t lose their beneficial properties.

Tomatoes

Tomatoes must be eaten cooked so that you can benefit from nutrients like lycopene which protects against tumors and heart disease. The nutrients increase if you heat the tomatoes to about 194°F.

Strawberries

They're known to be rich in fiber, antioxidants, and vitamin C, which is similar to most red fruits. Since the body needs these nutrients, these fruits should never be stored cut because when strawberries are cut, they become sensitive to light and oxygen and lose their nutrients very easily.

Broccoli

Broccoli should always be eaten raw or steamed. Actually, when you boil or fry them, they lose vitamin C, chlorophyll, antioxidants, and anti-cancer compounds which are all essential to the body

Sushi

Most of us have been eating sushi wrong way for a very long time. The right why to eat them is by eating the rolls using your fingers, not chopsticks. The chopsticks are typically used for eating classic sushi, not rolls. To add on that, a minimal amount of soy sauce is required, and you should never dip the rice in the soy sauce, only the fish side. Ginger and wasabi are not meant to be mixed with the soy sauce either because ginger is for cleansing your palate and should be eaten by itself, and only a small amount of wasabi should be put directly on the fish before eating.

Garlic

It actually contains allicin, an antitumor enzyme that enhances its strength with air exposure. And that's why garlic should be chopped before being used and then left to rest for at least 10 minutes. That way, its benefits will be incredible.
