Pilau is one of the most common consumed meal worldwide.
It is very delicious when properly cooked with the right ingredients.
The thing is ,Most people don't know how to cook it .
Here are some of the steps to cooking a sumptuous meal;
Ingredients to use;
2 teaspoon of ground cumin.
1 tablespoon of paprika.
1 teaspoon of ground cardamon
2 teaspoon of black pepper.
1 teaspoon of ground cloves.
1/2 a cup of vegetable oil.
2 medium red onions ,thinly sliced well.
3 cloves of minced garlic.
2 tablespoon of ginger.
1 finely chopped Serrano Chile
1 table spoon of pilau masala
3 beef stock cubes
1 cinnamon stick
1/4 cup fresh chopped chilantro
4 fresh tomatoes
4 cups of water
2 cups of sunrice or pearl rice
1.Make the pilau masala
2.In a medium bowl combine cumin,Paprika,Cardamon,Black pepper and cloves .
3.Set aside the mixed ingredients.
4.Heat the sufuria then add the oil and red onion .
5.Allow it to cook for 2-5 mins until they turn golden brown.
6.Add the garlic,Ginger,Serrano,Pilau masala, ,Cinnamon stick and cilantro.
7.Add the beef and cook until it turn brown for about 9 minutes.
8.Add the tomatoes and cook for 3 minutes until it has released its liquid.
9.Add well sliced potatoes and water then allow it to cook for 10 minutes.
10.Add the rice ,Stir and cover.
11.Reduce the heat to medium low and cook for 15minutes until all the liquid is absorbed.
12.Cheek if the rice have been well cooked .
13.Serve it when hot .
