"Tupunguzie Ata Bei Ya Githeri,"Henry Desagu Comically Rants at The Government to Lower Food Prices

Motivational speakers say that one should not lose hope and appetite. The big question is, " How can one have hope and appetite without food."

Ithagu Kibicho, famously known by his comic title Henry Desagu has finally joined the netizens in throwing shades at the government over the food prices hiking.

Desagu had tied salt and 'githeri' in a given corner. As the comedian approached reaching the food, it kept on rising beyond his reach.

Desagu's clip has wowed many netizens who have continued to rant for lowering of food prices in Kenya. As gathered from Desagu's post, some of the comments read:

Wenda: Watu wanalia bei ya salad wewe ni githeri😂😂😂.

Chris: Punguza hiyo kitu unatumia Desagu😂😂😂.

Vic: Creativity at it's best😂😂.

Molly: nice one Desagu. Ifikie serikali😂😂.

Netizens continue to do price analysis and comparison. They have suggested that the prices of commodities have been hiked.

Some of the netizens have politicized this situation saying that the United Democratic Alliance party leader, Hon. William Ruto is the best solution to this ongoing crisis.

Moreover, they claim that inflation came to existence after the handshake between the President of the Republic of Kenya Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta and the opposition leader Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga.

People have presented the chart comparison of prices before the handshake and after. Below is the trending food prices comparison before and after the handshake.

This campaign against food hiking had been done by the former Nairobi county governor, Hon. Mike Sonko. Sonko said that the only solution to this crisis is by lowering prices of fertilizers and spray chemicals.

Based on this article, what do you think is the causative agent of hiking of food prices in Kenya? Feel free to share with me your views concerning this in the comments section below and follow me for amazing articles.
