Avocado

There are a lot of ways to keep your avocado fresh for a long time and this is one of them; you can store avocado in water. Bananas, apple, pears and avocado when cut open; they can’t stay fresh for a long time. Storing avocado face down in a container with some water and adding a few drops of lemon or vinegar will keep it fresh.

When mushrooms are fresh, they contain 92% of water; this makes them get wet and moldy faster. To keep the fresh for a long time, store them in paper bags where they will absorb any excess air preventing them from absorbing any other liquids around. Store them in a paper bag in the refrigerator where they can even retain their flavor

Strawberry

Storing this type of fruit in the refrigerator might make them turn soft and getting grey and moldy. To make the last for weeks; mix four parts of water with one part of vinegar in a bowl, soak fresh strawberries in the mixture, drain the water and dry them with a cloth towel and finally store them in a paper towel in an airtight container in the refrigerator

Apples

To store slices apples correctly for a long time, add some lemon to the fruits especially the sliced ones, this will prevent them from turning brown and going bad
