How To Make Cooking Oil At Home From Avocado

Avocado has always been considered as a fruit with multiple health benefits. Avocado is a fruit but also it can be used to make a cooking oil at home which it is very healthy and sweet.

These are some of the health benefits of avocado.

1. Avocado oil contains fats that help to absorb nutrients such as carotenoid antioxidants.

2. Avocado oil helps maintain cholesterol levels.

3. Good for eyes. It contains lutein an antioxidant that the human body cannot produce. Lutein can improve eye health and reduce eye-related diseases.

You might have heard of avocado oil but you don't know how to extract it. This is the easiest and most economical method you should try at home.


1. Wash the avocado with clean tap water.

2. Cut the avocado in half and remove out the seeds.

3. Put the avocado into a clean bowl and try to mash it to form a smooth paste.

4. Transfer the paste to a tray and place it in the sun.

Dry for two to three days, depending on the intensity of the sun.

Make sure it turns black or dark brown. If you want to extract avocado oil for cooking, please do not use any other heat source otherwise it will be very bitter. Please use solar heat directly.

5. After that put your dried paste in a piece of a clothe and then try to squeeze the oil to the bowl.

It is now ready for consuption. Place it somewhere cool.
