Kenyans experienced an online frenzy on the 4th of May 2021 after a photo of Kenya African national union party leader Gideon Moi enjoying roast meat. The post was made on social media by an active Kenyan called Kipkoech Cheruiyot on the Kalenjin Facebook group.
However, what caught the attention of Kenyans was the manner in which the roast meat was prepared. This is owing to the realisation that the roast was being made through burning gas instead of doing it through a burning fire made of wood as has been done traditionally.
This comes at a time when the senator has been on a political fight with deputy President William Ruto in a bid to wrestle the vote-rich Rift Valley from him. He seems to have finally grown politically day in day out, becoming a force to reckon with in politics in the country.
