Ashraf Kasirye is a Ghetto Media journalist who also doubled as Bobi Wine's cameraman who usually updated audiences and giving live coverage of Bobi Wine's campaigns.
Ghetto Media is an online television believed to be affiliated with Bobi Wine's party, National Unity Platform (NUP).
Kasirye almost met his death when he was shot on the head on 27th December during Bobi Wine's campaign trail in Masaka forcing Bobi to suspend his campaigns for some days.

On 13th March, Bobi Wine alongside his wife Barbie Kyagulanyi visited Ashraf and updated his fans on how he is doing three months down the line.
He confirmed that Ashraf is doing good and thank God that he has granted him a second chance to live adding that those who shot him planned to finish him.
He also thanked the doctors for doing all that it takes to ensure they saved the life of the young man.

"It is unbelievable how much Ashraf has improved. We can only thank God. Extremely grateful to the doctors who have taken care of him to date," Bobi Wine.
Bobi Wine also noted that even though the bills was extremely high, very many people came in and helped settle the bill.
