How To Prevent Half Cut Avocado From Turning Brown

One of the most adaptable foods, avocados may be used in a range of different cuisines. However, these fruits' flesh can turn brown very fast when exposed to oxygen in the air, as you have surely seen while leaving an avocado that has already been cut out for the next day.

I'll demonstrate several easy methods for delaying this process and preserving the freshness of these fruits.

Method 1: Use lemon juice

Step 1: Take out the pit and give the flesh some fresh lemon juice.

2. Wrap the avocado in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator.

Second method: immerse it in water.

Step 1: Fill a glass or plastic container almost to the top with water.

Step 2: Place the avocado flesh-side down in the water as you immerse it.

3. Cover the container and put it in the refrigerator. For another two days or more, your avocado will remain fresh.

Method 3: Properly store it.

Simply place the avocado half face down in storage. This will stop the surface of the food from browning when oxygen comes into touch with it.

Method 4: Keep onions in storage.

Step 1: Finely chop some onions and scatter them on a container's base.

Step 2: Place the avocado half flesh-side up on top of the onion bed. Next, cover the container and put it in the refrigerator.

5th Method: Oil-coat.

Olive oil or any other oil with a mild flavor should be used to brush on the chopped avocado. Then cover it and put it in the refrigerator.
