Here is the recipe:
Baking powder 2 table spoon full
Vanilla essence or lemon zest
In a bowl mix sugar and butter then cream until creamy white
In the creamy white mixture add all the eggs and whisk
Put vanilla essence or lemon zest (to remove the smell of eggs)
In a separate bowl poor your flour and mix in the baking powder and mix well
Then mix the flour in your mixture slowly by slowly while creaming until all flour is added,you may add milk if it is difficult for you to cream
Cream until smooth.
Add vinegar for preservation purposes
Then add milk to adjust the consistency
The consistency should be flowing when you try to pour,too much liquid will make the cake have some faults as well as very hard mixture.
Put your mixture baking tin or a sufuria smeared with butter on the sides and the base.
You should not fill the baking tin ie leave a space for the cake to raise.
Bake in an oven or using a jiko for 40 minutes to 1hour depending on the size of the cake at a temperature of between 150 C° to 200C°.
Use a toothpick or a fork to check wheather your cake is ready.if the fork get out clean then your cake is ready
