The Best Ways To Use The Aloe Vera Plant

Aloe vera is a succulent plant that is commonly used in our homes. It is known for its magical uses as medicinal herb and is used to treat and manage many ailments. This article will help you know how to use the Aloe vera plant in different ways to achieve best results in your home.

1) Using Aloe Vera as a rooting hormone.

Crush the aloe vera plant to obtain its sap or juice, deep the cuttings you want to propagate in your farm for few hours before planting. The side to be placed in the soil should be the one immersed in the juice. This stimulates root production once in the soil

2) Using Aloe vera in treating diabetes

Crush two clean aloe vera leaves to obtain its fresh juice then take 2 teaspoon of Aloe extract with water at every meal to reduce sugar levels in blood.

3) Using Aloe vera in treating Arthritis

Drink 2 tablespoons of Aloe vera juice twice a day for 15 consecutive days to reduce Arthritis pains

4)Using Aloe vera in treating stye

A stye is a red, painful lump near the edge of the eyelid that may look like a boil or pimple.

Apply Aloe Vera juice or gel on infected Eye. It will give relief and treats this infection.

5) If you have dry lips, take fresh Aloe vera leaf and squeeze the gel out of it then use this gel on the lips. It soothes and helps moisturize the dried lips.

6) Using Aloe vera to treat a peeling skin

If your skin is peeling off, take a fresh leaf of Aloe vera and cut it from the middle. Rub its gel over affected skin and let it dry. Rinse with normal water after use. Doing this helps reduce peeling of the skin

7) Stopping menstrual cramps

Take 2 tablespoon of Aloe Vera juice/gel with a teaspoon of honey in it. Have it 2 to 3 times in a day to stop painful menstrual cramps

8) Treating insomnia ( lack of sleep)

Mix the Aloe vera leaf juice and Sesame oil in equal proportions. Boil them until moisture evaporates. Massage with it on your head for few minutes to aid sleep

9) Treating sunburns

Cut a leaf of Aloe vera and crush to extract the gel out from leaf. Rub the gel on the tanned area for 10 minutes and wash off. Do it twice a day for effectiveness

10) Treating diarrhea

Take out the inner flesh of Aloe vera leaves, add crushed cumin and little sugar then take one teaspoon after every 4 hours to stop diarrhea

11) Treating jauncice ( yellowing of the skin)

Aloe vera is helpful in treating jaundice simply by drinking 30 ml Aloe vera juice once a day.

12) Treating coughs

Take 2 Aloe Vera leaves and roast them over a fire, Wash and extract the juice from the roasted leaves then take 3 ml of it with 30 ml warm water to stop persistent coughing.

13)Using Aloe vera in treating epilepsy (brain disorder that causes seizures)

Warm the leaf gel of Aloe vera for a while and take 1 gram once in a day to stop this condition

14) Using Aloe vera in treating skin rashes

Cut the Aloe vera leaf and extract out the gel. Apply on the affected skin then leave it for 15 to 20 minutes before washing off with water. Do it twice a day for a week to reduce skin rashes

15)Using Aloe vera in treating cracked heels

Take 1 tablespoon of fresh Aloe vera gel and apply it on the cracked heels. Leave it for half an hour then wash off. Repeat it twice a day for seven consecutive days (1 week)

16) To prevent an oily face, take a fresh Aloe vera leaf and cut it in half and extract the gel out of it. Apply the gel directly onto the oily skin/face. Let it dry then wash off the skin with cold water. Repeat it 2 to 3 times a day for a week.

17) Treating oral herpes

Apply Aloe Vera gel on the affected area and allow it to get dry. Rinse it off with fresh water after 1 hour. This gel will provide proper healing and helps stop the itching sensation from herpes.

Split the leaves of Aloe vera plant in parts and apply juice on the affected area.

Take the inner flesh from the leaves of aloe vera and warm it slightly then apply it on the painful joints to alleviate pains

20) Treating cold with Aloe vera

Take a fresh Aloe Vera leaf, cut it and take the gel out using a spoon. Heat the gel on a low flame for 3 minutes and eat it

21) Treating swelling with Aloe vera

Pour 1 cup of hot water in 1 tablespoon of Aloe Vera juice/gel. Apply it on the swollen body parts and swelling will stop with time.

22) Treating wounds with Aloe vera

Mix 5 ml Aloe juice in 50 ml water and apply on damaged skin. You can also split the leaf longitudinally with knife and use it as bandage over affected area

23) Treating gingivitis ( bleeding and reddening of gums)

Apply Aloe Vera gel on the affected gum, swish with water after 15 minutes to stop bleeding of the gums

24) Treating grey hairs

Apply Aloe vera gel over scalp and leave it to dry. Wash after drying to cure the problem and strengthen your hair

25) Treating dandruff

Massage Aloe Vera juice on the scalp of your hair, leave for 1-2 hours and then rinse off with normal water

26) Treating Dysuria ( pain during urination)

Pain during urination can be alleviated by taking 2 tablespoons of washed inner flesh of the plant. Take this every morning for a week and forget about painful urination

27) Treating mouth ulcers

Mouth ulcer wounds are painful but to heal them, take the fresh juice extract and apply on the affected areas of your mouth.

28) Treating Acne scars and age spots

Rub the gel of Aloe Vera directly on the acne scars or the age spots. Leave for 30 minutes and wash with slightly warm water. Do this twice per day for effectiveness

29) Treating Constipation ( passing of hard stool)

Crush clean aloe vera leaves to obtain its gel and take 2 tablespoon of Aloe Vera gel in the morning to stop passing of hard stool

30) For stomachache, take the inner flesh of the plant juice twice a day

31) Treating baldness with Aloe Vera

Take leaf juice of Aloe Vera and sasame oil in equal quantity and mix them. Boil until moisture evaporates. Apply on head and massage well for 15 minutes.

32) Treating eczema

Take a fresh Aloe Vera leaf and apply its gel topically on the affected area. Let it dry then wash off with warm water. Apply it regularly for good results.
