The information was confirmed by the famed rapper on his social media sites. The shoe edition was designed by AliveShoes, an Italian master craftsman whose shoe editions have appeared in worldwide magazines such as Vogue.
Nonini claims to have invested over Sh. 2 million in the shoe line and is hoping for global recognition.
“The Sh24,000 shoes are genuine international quality footwear. One of the top Italian shoe brands produced and endorsed them,” the rapper explained.
The design is “straight out of basketball archives, this sneaker re-issues the court style according to today's trends,” according to the website. The mesh upper is cut in a mid-rise basket style with leather overlays and suede details.
Perforated details for breathability, a padded collar for enhanced comfort, and a front lace fastening distinguish this shoe.
A hefty sole composed of extra-light and durable rubber and a padded tongue with an integrated logo complete the look.”
“I designed the white section on the sneaker so that when I drive up in your city, I come and autograph for you,” the rapper said alongside a photo of the shoe and the name of one of the customers.
