The miss world Kenya pageant which was skipped last year due to the Covid - 19 pandemic was eagerly awaited this time round.
"This year, we are bigger and better than we have ever been before," said Mrs. Terry Mungai, Ashley's CEO during its launch.
The celebrated event was held at Trademark hotel graced by Chief Administrative Secretary Ministry of Public Service Hon. Rachel Shebesh, Women representative - Nairobi county Hon. Esther Passaris, ICT and Youth affairs CS Hon. Joseph Mucheru.
Sharon Obara emerged as the winner and was crowned as Miss world Kenya 2021. Sharon is 22 years old but with big dreams and enjoys putting a smile on other people's faces. According to a caption she wrote on one of her posts on Instagram, Sharon aspires to touch twice as many lives through her beauty with brains project.
The event attracted a number of sponsors who played a key role in its success. The event was broadcasted live on youtube and viusasa.
