Women in Beards. Take a Look at These Pictures.

For the longest time, there has been stigma that surrounds women with facial hair and they are treated like oddities in our societies, especially with traditional beauty standards dictating that women's faces should be completely hairless to be considered attractive. But it's time that we embraced the fact that facial hair on women is natural. Some women will have more hair on their face than others, whether they are dealing with hormonal conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or they are trans, they are beautiful just like any other woman. In this open minded and more accepting generation, women are embracing their facial hair and one of them is model and activist Harnaam Kaur (first picture below). She hold the world's Guinness record for youngest woman to grow a full beard, she also is a pioneer in this movement and uses her huge platform to push for body positivity.

Hirsutism, is common name for facial hair on a woman's face, chest and back. It can be caused by excess male hormones called androgens in the body, it can also be caused by medical condition or inherited from your parents. These women are beautiful and they shouldn't be treated as anything different. Share your thoughts on this subject in the comment section below.
