Lemons are commonly used in day-to-day activities. This is because of their numerous advantages. Lemon water is also commonly used especially when we have a cold and flu. But do you know to achieve results from lemon water you need to drink it consistently?

Note: while making lemon water, always use fresh lemon. This will give you the best results.

First, what are the advantages of drinking lemon water?

·        It freshens your breath. We all want a fresh breath. Right?

·        It aids digestion. Whether in cold or warm water, lemon water acts as a laxative; that is it relieves constipation which is why some people drink it.

·        It may improve your skin quality. This is due to the presence of vitamin C which may reduce wrinkling, damage from the sun, and skin from aging.

·        Helps you stay hydrated. Hence you end up with glowing skin.

·        It is a good source of vitamin C.

How do you make lemon water?

You will need organic lemon and filtered water to get most of the benefits.

To make lemon water, squeeze half a lemon in a glass of water. You can add flavor by adding;

-few springs of mint.

-a teaspoon of raw honey.  

-a slice of fresh ginger.

-a dash of cinnamon.

-a sprinkle of turmeric.

Try this for a period of time and observe the results.
