We all know what it is like to have to get somewhere so early or so quickly, such that we don't even have time to shower. The whole day, you just can't help but feel terrible, unclean and anxious. You know, like what if someone comes close to you and smells the sweat off you?
Well, turns out there is a way to fix this issue. That sweaty smell and greasy hair can be shaken off, without even having to go through that morning ritual called a shower.
1. Lotions and perfumes
This is the most common way most of us escape the day that we haven't showered. This is because the spray or perfume masks the unpleasant smells. But the trick here, is to use the perfume on some specific areas. It makes the smell last longer throughout the day. These areas of your body are where your pulse is more likely to be felt, including; the inner part of your elbows, the lower back, the nape of your neck and the back part of your knees.
2. Wet wipes or a damp cloth
These are disposable products on the market, that are actually designed for occasions just like these. Yes, no shame at all in using them. What you have to keep in mind though, is that you should use baby wipes, and not specialized products. This is because baby wipes are made sensitive, so as not to react to the baby's skin, thus making it safer for you too.
3. Dry brushing
Surprising right? Well, not only is brushing an excellent option in stimulating your blood circulation, it is also very useful when you've had too busy a morning to take a bath. It helps you get rid of a certain number of toxins and dead skin cells. Plus there is an added benefit of having an energizing effect, making this method ideal to start the day. Just make sure to use a natural bristle brush, preferably one with a long handle.
4. Essential oils
Do you ever wonder what makes you stink when you haven't showered? Well, it is because of the presence of of bacteria. Essential oils like peppermint oil, have antibacterial properties. These help fight bad smells, and also give you a fresh and pleasant aroma. Just apply a little bit of the oil on the areas that you sweat the most, to feel and smell cleaner during the day.
