Meet the Lady Who Holds the World Record for the Youngest Woman With a Full Beard

At around 16, boy’s starts having an appointment with the mirror where they spends quite some quality time meekly scrutinizing their cheeks to see if the god of beards have blessed them. 

Rarely does masculinity meets femininity but when it does, unwelcomed facial hair starts to grow on ladies pretty faces.

A thread of hair under the chin grows into a full blown beard which no shaving can hide and all they can do is to master the art of living with a beard.

Growing a beard and learning how to live with it as a lady in a world where gender is determined by how we look is tough as it sounds but 29 year old Harnaam Kaur who entered the Guinness book of records at 24 as the youngest woman in the world to have a full beard has embrace her state as a bearded woman. 

 Born on 29th November 1990 in slough, United Kingdom, she was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) at the age of 11 years, a hormonal disorder characterized by elevated male hormones (androgen) in females, leading to excessive facial hair growth in women, acne and obesity.  

Despite being traumatized by bullies, her setback became a blessing, an oasis of courage to other ladies facing the same problem. Currently, she is a decorated motivational speaker, anti-bullying and body sensitive activist and a model.
