Venus Fly Trap needs no introduction because this plant has been covered by the media so many times, if you are an insect then you are in danger around this plant because they use a certain mechanism to trap and consume this animal, which is ensuring the animal or insect is in the mouth and then it triggers some spines which then triggers the plants to close instantly. but it’s a fatal plant because it ensures that all the insect is inside are not partial because it will be dangerous to both the plant and animal, they may die when the decomposition takes place outside and can be poisonous to the plant itself, the mouth is guided from this process by an antiseptic which the plant produces and it ensures the digestive enzymes is only released when the insect is well placed.

6. Portuguese Sundew

This carnivorous plant is another one but very beneficial to humans and is based in the cape of South Africa. It has a sticky substance and bright color that really attract insect and sticks in it, it gets the name for its ability to grow six feet tall and dew. The difference now is that it is very sticky and can also attract birds and take them off.
4. Butterwort
They are unusual plants that look generally different, the name came from its glitteriest and the leaves structure. Its leaves are filled with small droplets of substance that looks like water but are used to trap these insects, another interesting fact is that it changes color as per the season and also the way it looks like and flower formation. Larger in times of summer and also small during winter.

It’s an extremely rare plant but if you have a chance of seeing it then you’re lucky, the cobra lily that looks like a real cobra head that is about to strike its prey, mostly located in North Carolina and Origin. it's mostly seen in a place with running water and a bit bushy, its leaves are translucent to confuse the prey but because it's grown in soil that lacks nutrients, it needs insects very much.

1. Yellow Pitcher Plant
It’s a yellow beautiful carnivore plant native in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.it catches its prey using its Pitcher shaped leaves and takes them inside. they are mostly known to grow up to 3 feet tall but in most cases it grows two feet tall, covered by the flap the mouth of the pitcher protects the prey afterward.
