Kenya Wildlife Service is the unit of Kenya Police which deals with protection and preservation of wild animals and plants. Their servicemen are located in various wildlife game parks, game reserves and sanctuaries in various parts of the country. Due to the climate change, several animals and plants continue to deplete or extinct in the world.
Today, Kenya Wildlife Service announced the only national animal park which contains Roan antelope. Taking to their twitter account, KWS announced that Ruma National Park holds lots of significant potential for discovery by the wanderlust being Kenya's last remaining sanctuary for the endangered Roan antelope. Roan species is the third largest antelopes in Kenya.
The species are among the most tourist attractions in the wildlife sector in Kenya.
