Like any other third world countries in the world Kenya is on the race to make sure that it develops and catch up with other developed countries such as Germany, it has several visions to achieve where most of them are the keys of making the country's vision 2030 a reality.
From 2012 the country has been planning to start a nuclear power plant in the near future so as to boost it's grid capacity in order to be able to hold it's quick growing industry sector, Kenya is increasing it's industries so as to reduce it's poverty rate hence more need for electric power increase.
The nuclear power plant site will be in Tana river county due to the presence of a lot of water in the county that can be used to cool reactors, the project will kick of in 2027 and is expected to cost the government more than 500 billion Kenya shillings.
