Nandi senator Samson Arap Cherargei, who is also a vocal ally of Ruto's Kenya Kwanza, has loudly praised President William Ruto for his most recent move to allocate 5.2 billion to fight drought in the country through the provision of food and water. Cherargei is a member of the Kenya Kwanza.
Cherargei has cautioned Azimio la Umoja's chief Raila Odinga to remain in the opposition slowly through his official Twitter handle. He cites the fact that Odinga ought to know the difference between hunters and gatherers as the reason for his warning.
"The government of H.E. Ruto has allotted $5.2 billion to aid in the provision of water and food as a means of mitigating the effects of the drought. While this is going on, Tinga should be aware that there is a distinction between gatherers and hunters. Kaeni Upinzani Polepole ", he had written.
His comments came just a few hours after President Ruto made an audacious move with the Kenya Red Cross, in which he was designated as their patron in an effort to save Kenyans who live in the northern parts of the country. His remarks were made in response to that move.
In the meantime, his warning comes in the wake of Raila Odinga's baseless assaults on Kenya Kwanza's government, in which he called on his allies to fight any motion that was brought forward against NSSF payments and tax payers.
