The hide and seek game Laikipia bandits have been playing with security operatives in the country is about to come to an end. This is after the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) has chipped into the matter which has attracted attention countrywide.
For a week now, families have been terrified by bandits in Laikipia who have invaded homes, killed people, and burnt schools. Confirming the involvement of the KDF, the National Police Service Tweeted, "MULTIAGENCY SECURITY CHIEFS VISIT LAIKIPIA, ASSURES RESIDENTS OF SECURITY. Chief of the @kdfinfo General Robert Kibochi and @IG_NPS of the @NPSOfficial_KE. Hillary Mutyambai on Thursday 9th September 2021 visited the troops involved in a multiagency security operation in Laikipia".
Following this, a majority of Kenyans are now confident that this insecurity problem in the region will come to an end. INitially, the KDF has handled an almost similar challenge when it crashed the Sabaot Land Defence Force that terrorized Mt. Elgon area.
What message can you tell the bandits in advance?
