The situation in Kenya is getting worse following the ongoing drought. Livestock have lost lives due to lack of water and pasture. Children are missing schools to travel to places to be for food and search for water. Parents have lost hope to an extend of watching their children and livestock suffer.

He requested those travelling to Lake Magadi for tourism, festivals, work or any other reason to carry three to four jerrican of water in their boots, buses, vans or any thing they are using. He added that beyond Kabuagi, Tinga and all the way to Magadi, drought is not just about a hot sun but death. Maa Women and children are lining up the road begging for water.
