Main Reasons Why Rhinos Are Transported Upside Down Using Helicopters And Different Species

Catching and transporting large African elephants, rhinos, buffalo, lions, leopards can sometimes be dangerous for both the specialist and the animals with great care that is not carried out.   Today I'm going to share with you the main reason scientists turn helicopter rhinos upside down during the move.

The reason why rhinos are transported backwards  Wildlife officers inject sedative drugs into the target rhinoceros before catching it. This drug allows the animal to doze off so the officers can catch it. During transport, rhinos are hung upside down by the ankles from a helicopter.  Transporting rhinos upside down in helicopters is one of the most common and safest ways to move these giant mammals over short distances. Wearing rhinos on your head improves ventilation.
