Reactions As A Lone Elephant Is Spotted Strolling In Kiamunyi Estate Nakuru.

Residents of Kiamunyi in Nakuru City, are living in fear after an elephant trespassed into their estate in search of food. The residents are forced to be indoors from fear of being attacked by the jumbo. The residents have urged Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) to urgently act and take away the jumbos.Due to the park’s proximity to Nakuru town,a fence has been constructed around the perimeter in order to reduce conflict between Nakuru’s human population and its neighbouring wildlife.Human-wildlife conflict is increasing in Kenya due to the rising number of human settlements and the pressures created by climate change. This creates friction as animals leave their natural habitats to search for food and water elsewhere.

Fans reacts:

𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐡: KWS rangers are just a few kilometers alway. Why don't they come for their stuff.

𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐲: Christmas bonanza courtesy of Nakuru County.

𝐀𝐧𝐧: If that's a mature one....be assured others are following....it is showing the way

𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐲: You might be surprised that probably once upon a time elephants passed by there during immigration. Elephants never forget immigration routes.
