10 Counties that will face drought disaster in Kenya

Kenyan President Uhuru Mwigai Kenyatta declare the drought a national disaster as it has affected 10 Counties in Kenya.

Experts have warned Kenyans in the 10 affected Counties against this drought disaster, telling them to be keener because the drought will be worse.

According to the state's record, the number of those who Lack food and are more insecure has risen to 2.1 million, from 1.4 million in the past 6 months. According to National Drought management, thousands of animals are dying due to a lack of water and grass.

The National drought management briefed standard media that despite this drought disaster in these affected counties, affected families have benefited from the government by receiving food support from the hunger safety program running in these counties.
